Montain-LC

Montain-LC Tablet is a combination medication primarily used for the treatment of allergic conditions such as allergic rhinitis (hay fever), seasonal allergies, and asthma. The tablet contains two key active ingredients: Montelukast and Levocetirizine

• 01.Levocetirizine -Dihydrochloride:

  H1 Antagonist with some mast cell stabilising activity & poor CNS penetration. Its onset of action is 1-2 hours and duration of action is 16-24 hours.

• 02. Montelukast Sodium:

  Montelukast is a CysLT1 Antagonist; i.e.it blocks the action of leukotriene D4 onthe cysteinyl leukotriene receptor CysLT1 inthe lungs and bronchial tubes by binding to it.

  Reduces the bronchoconstriction otherwiseCaused by the leukotriene and results in Lessinflammation.
